Just? throwing out something that came to mind, but you could always use notebooks and paper for whatever. (Journals, Pass-time things *oragami, drawing*, or tactical uses such as messages or what have you.) Lost most of the tactical uses as i was typing haha. thanks for the post as always!

How well are your supplies? protected from flooding or earthquakes? What happens in the event of a house fire - would you just start from scratch? Is there a sprinkler system? Could this room function as a panic room?

Suggestion: PB2 dehydrated peanut butter. Mix with water, or preserves/jelly directly. I also add it to soups to thicken and add protein, or? any meal that is somewhat liquidy.

I've been looking to do something similar but from my experience cheap shelves equals VERY cheap quality shelves, and heavy duty/decent shelves are VERY? expensive. At this point it seems that buying 2x4s and plywood might be the way to go. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance for your time!

Brother I really wouldn't cut the can racks, I did it and for some reason when you stack'em like you said they become unstable. Don't make my mistake , I think they are designed just to hold what they are supposed? to. Just my 2 cents.
